FIA MEDICAL KIT – BAG CONTENTS

• 1x rescue scissors.

• 1x adhesive plaster tape 5 m x 2.5 cm.

• 6x sterile compresses 10 cm x 10 cm.

• 1x roll of conforming elastic self-adherent bandage Coban type or
equivalent – 4m x 8 cm.

• 2x rescue sheet – aluminium blanket minimum 160 cm x 210 cm, which can
also be used to signal using the sun.

• 2x finger plasters 12 cm x 2 cm.

• 4x pairs of disposable nitrile gloves (adult size).

• 4x wet wipes.

• 4x single doses of physiological saline for eyes.

• 1x skin disinfectant (50 ml).

• 2x compression bandages: emergency haemostatic compression pad.

• 1x Guedel airway tube (Guedel Tubus), medium size.

• 1x tourniquet (one-handed operation) – CAT or similar.

• 1x critical burn kit for face and hands – Water-Gel or equivalent.

• 1x 50 ml sunscreen.

• 1x emergency mirror.

• 1x information sheet.

• 1x emergency procedure sheet.

• 1x head torch.
